I remember some time ago, a woman from the Netherlands asked me to give an example of how bayan is being used in Ukraine with folk choirs. Відіграли учора, 7.07.2010, у Києві, концерт з Романом Колядою організований " Jazz in Kiev ". Він проходив у форматі " Тема з варіаціями. Live " - де ведучим був Олексій Коган.  Фото Андрія Авдошина Грати було дуже приємно, бо публіка сприймала музику Романа та мої скромні імпровізації дуже добре! Були моменти, коли у мене, як у співансамблиста, павуки по спині лазили від відчуття того, що приходило "воно"  під час "польоту думки" на фоні космічно-романтичної музики Романа! Надіюсь, дядьки з "Jazz in Kiev" запросять нас ще коли-небудь! After being ill for several years Volodymyr (Vladimir) Podgorny left this world... Great Composer , great Performer , great Teacher . A man with huge passion and love for Music. 17 квітня грав у складі К-тріо з Романом Колядою ! Грати було легко, на одному диханні. Не скажу, що попередні виступи були складними, чи ще щось, але, коли за певних обставин відчуваєш Божу допомогу - це окриляє! За день до ансамблевого концерту, мені стало відомо, що доведеться пограти й СОЛО на цьому концерті. Так як я тільки повернувся з закордонної поїздки, програма була готова. От тільки в столиці я виступав вперше, що робило цей виступ особливо хвилюючим. Ніколи не знаєш, як сприймуть гру на Батьківщині! Голандія вже обкатана мною вздовж і впоперек, а от Україна... Але, начебто, обійшлося без помідорів! ;)
